The date is set for John Galliano’s big return to the fashion industry. The designer, recently appointed as creative director of Maison Martin Margiela, will show his first collection for the label in London during Couture Fashion Week. According to The Business of Fashion, the designer will present his latest around tea time on January 15.
This couture offering is noted as “artisanal,” which we’re guessing means very, very fancy. There’s no telling what Galliano’s been working on for his first showing, although we think that the bespoke gown he made for Anna Wintour at last week’s British Fashion Awards may give us a clue as to what’s in store.
