Paul Andrew took home the coveted first place position at this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, according to WWD. Last Night, the annual competition came to a close with three emerging designers winning a cash prize and a yearlong mentorship with an established CFDA designer. While Andrew nabbed the top prize, Ryan Roche and Eva Fehren’s Eva Zuckerman came in as the runners-up.
The three designers beat out stiff competition, pulling ahead of an impressive class of finalists including Wes Gordon, Jake Sargent and Daniel Corrigan from Simon Miller, Tanya Taylor, Gigi Burris Millinery’s Gigi Burris, Orley’s Alex, Samantha and Matthew Orley, Grey Ant’s Natalie Levy and Grant Krajecki, and Edie Parker’s Brett Heyman.
Andrew was announced the winner at last night’s awards, which took place at Spring Studios. The designer will take his place amongst past winners like Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Billy Reid, Public School and Sophie Theallet.
Expect to see a lot more of the three winners in the future.
