We can’t imagine what we would do with one of Victoria’s Secret’s Fantasy Bras. But this year, the lingerie retailer is busting out two of the bejeweled brassieres for its annual fashion show. ABC News reports that Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have been chosen to model this year’s Fantasy Bras, worth about $2 million each.
This year will be the first time Victoria’s Secret will stage its fashion show in London, and for the occasion the retailer has tapped jeweler Mouawad to double up and craft the sparkly lingerie. The bras include pieces for the arms, shoulders, wrists and hips, all dripping with sapphires, rubies and diamonds.
While two Fantasy Bras is an exciting development, it would have been even cooler if VS had decided to use at least one up-and-coming face to model the pricey underwear. Adriana Lima has worn the fantasy bra at least twice in the past six years and Alessandra Ambrosio got to wear it back in 2012. It would have been nice to see an old guard angel side-by-side with a newer face.
