Lena Dunham‘s about to hit the road to promote her new book, Not That Kind of Girl. The actress has made quite an affair out of the whole thing, holding ticketed appearances alongside other comedians like Amy Schumer as well as performances from independent artists trying to make it big. Of course with so many appearances, the matter of what to wear is always an issue. Fortunately for Lena, it’s already been handled.
According to WWD, the Girls creator has tapped Nasty Gal CEO Sophia Amoruso to dress her for the tour. The pair got together to create 15 looks to keep Lena looking fly and fabulous as she chats with fans and signs books across the country. Nasty Gal set up a lookbook and shoppable category dedicated to Lena’s tour-drobe and we must say, Lena looks pretty great. Possibly the best we’ve seen her. The picks are very Nasty Gal; trendy, cheeky, youthful and edgy. There are lots of printed T-shirts with funny slogans, moto jackets and zippered everything. The actress seems perfectly comfortable in a cropped tee that reads “I like it in my ear” and a high-waisted full black skirt.
Whether you plan on getting the book or not, the offering is pretty enticing. If you do plan on picking up a copy of Lena’s latest, the edit does include the book as well as a $15 tote bag to carry it in.
