Not even relationships in the blogging world are safe from eventually going kaput. Just ask Colin Sokol, The Fashion Toast blogger Rumi Neely‘s ex boyfriend and former “beau-tographer.” Today, another famous blogging couple has called it quits. The Sartorialist‘s Scott Schuman and his longtime girlfriend Garance Doré have broken up, according to a post Schuman published yesterday to his blog titled simply, “Garance & I”
The pair had been together for seven years and although we don’t know the details behind this conscious uncoupling, it doesn’t make it any less sad.
“Our mutual respect and admiration for each other have left us still great friends,” Schuman wrote. “Our time together profoundly changed both of our lives for the better and I deeply thank her for that experience. It’s a difficult time, but we are both doing ok.”
Dore also addressed the breakup on her site with a succinct posting of her own. Comments were closed on both.
