Speaking at a press conference to promote her upcoming film, Maleficent, Angelina Jolie was asked how she would feel if the drag queen community adopted the character as a costume.
“I would be THRILLED if it is embraced by the drag queens. I think we all share a love of this kind of costume. I’m with them,” she said.
Asked if she felt like she was missing out, co-star Elle Fanning shook her head: “No, they can dress up as princesses too.”
