Adidas launched the campaign on its Instagram page today asking followers, “ARE YOU READY? Take the #zxflux to the next level with the ultra innovative photo print app from #miadidas.” Going on to tell them, “Print your favourite photos straight onto one of 2014’s hottest silhouettes and make a statement on your sneakers like never before. Rolling out on iPhone and Android from August 2014. The possibilities are limitless.”
Whilst we are all accustomed to the idea of personalisation with brands like Nike having promoted this through its Nike IDs that can be customised to create the perfect trainer from a vast range, Adidas is the first brand to let you print your photos straight onto the shoe. So while you may be restricted to one style now, there are unlimited design options.
The Adidas Photo Print app will be available on iPhone and Android from August.
