The 28-year-old and her long-term partner have instead opted to give image rights of the wedding to Net-a-Porter’s print magazine Porter, after allegedly turning down glossy magazine Hello!. Porter, however, is not paying for the rights, but providing freebies to the guests instead. We can only dream as to what kind of goodie bag that will be, mind you, with the civil ceremony taking place in London and celebrations in Morocco, there will be no shortage of excitement anyway.
So while you may be missing the opportunity to take a peek at a drunken Cara Delevingne dancing with Sienna Miller, or even Poppy and new husband James’ first dance, you will be able to see the whole thing in high resolution, flattering glory, without a grainy filter in sight. Which, although we love an Instagram shot or two, is pretty much the way most people would like to capture their wedding.
Luckily for us, Poppy did not ban the lead up to the wedding, giving us all a great insight into her fantastic first hen do seven months ago, which saw her dressed as True Romance‘s heroine Alabama in full sheer blue bra and animal print fur, partying with the likes of Alexa Chung, Harry Styles, Sienna Miller, Jaime Winstone and Georgia May Jagger.
Yesterday, Poppy celebrated her second honeymoon, courtesy of Chanel, with a spread so lavish she commented that she ‘might turn into a macaroooooooon.’ Something tells us, she is still going to look incredible on her wedding day.
Let’s just hope Porter brings the wedding issue out super quickly!
