Given how few boutiques can rival the worldwide influence of Opening Ceremony – in fact the only possible comparison may be Paris’ Colette – it’s little surprise that the designer boutique is opening stores in Japan through a new agreement with Onward Holdings Ltd.
Opening Ceremony is owned by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon who noted that Opening Ceremony has a lot of customers who live in states other than New York and California, as well as a lot of international clients who e-mail them daily.
