Perhaps in response to some recent negative press regarding her online venture GOOP, Elle UK is reporting that Gwyneth Paltrow has decide to collaborate on the designs for a capsule collection – ZOEtee’s Loves Gwyneth – with the French label ZOEtee’s known for its soft jersey wear and versatile separates.
The collection’s proceeds will be donated to London’s Kids Company and the pieces will consist of jersey basics, 1970’s inspired looks, and pieces influenced by masculine tailoring.
The line’s unveiling is slated for the week of March 30th in London, and follows news that fellow actress Katie Holmes will design a children’s line in collaboration with Georgio Armani. The line will be called Katie Holmes for Armani and could be out as soon as Spring 2009. Following the spring release, Holmes will unveil a collection for older children in the Fall of 2009 and then a line of womenswear clothes and handbags in the Fall of 2010.
Compared to Armani’s ready to wear line, Holmes’ lines are expected to be relatively moderately priced and they will be available at department stores including Saks, Barney’s, and Neiman Marcus.
