I thought that it couldn’t get worse than MAC collaborating with Dame Edna – then it was announced that the cosmetic giant was collaborating with Hello Kitty. Last month I was able to get a sneak peek at the line that’s set to launch in February and it was explained to me and the others in attendance that we were going to see the naughty side of Kitty.
What does that mean? Apparently images of Hello Kitty against a black backdrop. The thought of anyone past the age of 10 pulling-out a Hello Kitty emblazoned cosmetic product is a little odd, but given the Sanrio character’s cult following the line will no doubt be a huge success.
