While Interview Russia ran a bland close-up shot of Cate Blanchett (I know — why? But just try explaining cultural relvancy to Muscovites without wanting to blow your head off), Interview Germany chose to photograph Anna Dello Russo in all her glorious glory.
The Vogue Nippon editor is a genius, maybe the only person in the whole world I could forgive for championing Kanye West‘s fashion career, and Interview Germany did her justice.
Just try making the case that Interview America’s March Issue, featuring Katy Perry transformed into Amy Winehouse (so done), holds a candle to its German counterpart. To make matters even better, it’s only a matter of time before Anna Dello Russo Photoshops the cover into one of her famous/infamous J’ADR frames. It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving.
