We’re guessing you probably had no idea who Lucy Boynton was before awards season. Sure, the British/American actress has appeared in big-budget movies like the 2017 reboot of Murder on the Orient Express , but she’s now a red carpet darling thanks to her role in Bohemian Rhapsody . Since the Freddie Mercury biopic racked up the nominations/awards this year, Lucy hit practically every awards show-related red carpet (sometimes with former co-star and real-life beau Rami Malek). And boy, did she make the most of it.
From her glamorous custom Rodarte at the Oscars to that bewitching Erdem at the SAG Awards , Lucy didn’t miss a beat. Plus, her slightly wavy bob won the Golden Globes . Lucy also slayed in the eye makeup department. Always willing to go bold when it comes to beauty, she’s rocked everything from smoked-out winged eyeliner to blush as eyeshadow and negative space liner considered risqué by runway standards. She even managed to make a few memorable front-row appearances in the midst of her jam-packed awards season schedule.
With a highly under-wraps new TV show called The Politician set to debut this year (her co-stars include Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Lange and Zoey Deutch), she’ll soon have more opportunities to shine. Ahead, 14 reasons Lucy is the standout style star of award season and the future.
