After she wowed us with her luminous, (sort of) makeup-free face at Balenciaga and a negligéed, Madonna-reminiscent look for Givenchy, today’s Paris Fashion Week front row will be noticeably devoid of Kim Kardashian.

Last night, the reality star-turned-mogul was robbed in her hotel room. According to French newspaper Le Parisian, five armed men broke into the building where Kardashian was staying at around 2:30 a.m. local time. After threatening the night watchman, they ascended to Kardashian’s quarters where three men stood watch as the other two held Kim at gunpoint, binding her hands and feet and locking her in her bathroom before making off with several million dollars worth of jewelry.
Whether or not they took her 15-carat diamond Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring and its incredible 20-carat sister has not been confirmed. However, the same publication estimated the value of the stolen property at upwards of 10 million dollars, so it’s likely. Two of Kardashian’s phones were also taken, so the potential of a follow-up data leak is, unfortunately, high.
In a statement, a spokeswoman for the reality star shared, “Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
As would we, Kim boarded a plane to the states this morning to be with her family. Her doting hubby Kanye, who was in New York performing at the time of the attack, excused himself from his Meadows gig the moment he heard the news.

All we can say is that we’re thankful nobody was harmed and that Nori and Saint did not have to witness this traumatizing event. Our thoughts are with the Kardashian-Wests.
