All hail Selena Gomez, reigning empress of Instagram. Not only does the Revival singer hold claim to the most followers on the social media platform (89.2 million and counting, at time of publication), she’s also responsible for the most-liked photo in history.
Posted two weeks ago, the (who would’ve guessed it?) selfie shows Selena in a red top, her nails painted to match, her newly auburn, side-swept waves framing her smoky-eyed face. In what could be called the greatest sponsored ad on the planet, Gomez sips on a bottle of Coca Cola featuring lyrics from her song Me & the Rhythm. Pat yourself on the back and demand a raise, whoever came up with the “Share a Coke and a Song” campaign. Cite the photo’s 4.1 million-plus likes as evidence of your indispensability.

To top it off, Gomez is also the subject of the second-most-liked snap. Earlier this year, her ex, Justin Bieber, posted a blurry throwback photo of him and Gomez. Jelena fans the world over felt their heartstrings tugged and the image garnered 3.7 million likes. (This was around the time Justin serenaded her in a hotel bar for all to see. Way to toy with our emotions for nada, Biebs.)
Coming in third place (with a paltry 3.7 million likes) is Kendall Jenner’s 2015 flick of herself in a wedding gown, her hair formed into hearts.
And there you have it. Kendall, Justin, all other aspiring Instagram royalty, when you’re ready come and get it — it being Selena’s well-earned emoji crown.
