Karl Lagerfeld can barely contain his love for Kristen Stewart. He already cast her as Coco Chanel in his recent short film, revealing that he conceived the 11-minute movie with her in mind. Add to that countless fashion campaigns, front row seats and even a stint walking the Chanel runway, and Karl might as well adopt the former Twilight star into his family.
Instead, he has a new role for his beloved Stewart. She’s the face of Chanel’s makeup campaign, Collection Eyes 2016. Shot by Mario Testino, the black and white ads will debut in March of this year. According to Chanel, Stewart will “incarnate the different facets of a contemporary woman” in the ads with sultry poses and her permanent scowl.” We’re sure Karl Lagerfeld will be pleased.
