Rain Dove has a figure that’ll rival any Victoria’s Secret Angel. She’s 6’2″ with a 26″ waist and 32DD breasts. But her androgynous features don’t fit the lingerie brand’s limited beauty standards. Despite a storied career, appearing in Vogue, ELLE, W and Cosmopolitan, Dove believes she’ll never be invited to grace the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show stage. “You don’t see Victoria’s Secret women running around with even short hair. That’s too crazy for them,” Dove told The Daily Mail. “I want to tell people that there are more ways to be beautiful, there are more ways to be handsome.”

She’s hoping to enlighten the lingerie giant with a photo shoot superimposing the Angels’ faces onto her own. She donned Victoria’s Secret lingerie and posed similarly to models in the Victoria’s Secret catalog. Then she posted an image featuring her face with its striking masculine features, and another with the delicate visages of Victoria’s Secret models photoshopped onto hers. The shoot proves that from the neck down, Dove looks like any other Victoria’s Secret model. And her facial features are no less beautiful than that of Candice Swanepoel and Sara Sampaio — just different.
“Every year I see VS promote their show as featuring the ‘most beautiful women in the world,'” she said. “During my career path I’ve experienced first hand what people deem as beautiful. It’s not me. It’s not most people. It’s limited and small. It needs to change.” I think a growing number of Victoria’s Secret critics, from Lane Bryant to Geena Rocero, would agree.
