Don’t expect Rebel Wilson to send the Kardashians any samples from her new Torrid line. Though she doesn’t necessarily “hate them,” Rebel had some choice words for the Kardashian/Jenner clan in an interview on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show. She even revealed she once turned down the opportunity to work with them: “I got asked to present with Kendall and Kylie at the recent VMAs and I said no, I’d do it myself,” she said. “I think I was going to dress up as Kim Kardashian if I was going to do that.” Ouch.
When asked why she refused to even stand onstage with Kris Jenner’s offspring, Wilson highlighted Kim’s claim to fame: “I know they’re super popular, but I am all about personality and working hard to get where I am. I mean how Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard.” She added, “They seem a bit superficial and their career isn’t really based on talent.” Clearly, Wilson doesn’t view balancing a glass on your butt as talent.

Harsh words, but Wilson insists there are no hard feelings. “It’s not that you hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for.” She joins a growing number of public figures who have expressed their distaste for the Kardashian clan, including a newscaster who recently had a breakdown when he had to report more news on the family.
The Kardashians, of course, are used to the criticism and adept at creating #1 apps, nabbing magazine covers and winning awards in spite of it.
