Knowles unveiled the cover on her Instagram this morning, captioning the image with, “‘Luck be a lady tonight’…. Thank you @luckymagazine.” And indeed, Solo is pictured as one casually hip lady on the cover–she’s styled in a white printed sweatshirt and icy blue trousers, casually holding a coffee cup because, you know, she’s so cool that she can just chill and sip java through her photo shoot and still look like a boss.
Turns out she can also deflect questions about her infamous elevator fight with Jay Z like a boss as well. In the accompanying article, Knowles speaks out on the dropkick seen ’round the world–and she doesn’t have much else to say about it that wasn’t already said in the very dry statement the family released in the aftermath of elevator-gate. “What’s important is that my family and I are all good,” she told Lucky. “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
Guess if there’s anything to tell about that night, Solange won’t be the one telling it!
