It has been three years since Steven Meisel last photographed the cover of Vogue Italia. We’ve suffered through a whole multitude of questionable covers from the powers that be at the Italian fashion bible during that time. Now that Francesca Ragazzi is at the helm, things are slowly but surely looking up and Meisel is back! Sharing a cover shoot (our new norm) with British Vogue this month, Lady Gaga makes an appearance on Vogue Italia’s November 2021 issue making us remember the good old days serving nothing but face in the flawless portrait dressed by Edward Enninful in a hooded creation from Valentino’s Fall 2021 Haute Couture collection.
The outcome gave our forum members life! “Meisel back at Vogue Italia…wow. It’s stunning!” rejoiced mikel.
“This is beyond! Best Vogue Italia cover in ages,” declared KINGofVERSAILLES.
“Stunning! Very classic Vogue Italia, but more than that, a fabulous homage to the past,” applauded Lola701.

“Absolutely gorgeous. Such a thrill to see Steven Meisel back at Vogue Italia and shooting Gaga no less! Perfect cover. Feels like the good old days,” approved an equally impressed LastNight.
“Just amazing to see Meisel back where he belongs,” voiced [Piece Of Me].
“I can not recall the last time I felt such a rush of excitement over a magazine. This looks incredible!” proclaimed aracic.
GivenchyHomme shared the same enthusiasm: “This cover is amazing! Everything is perfect. The image is striking, the masthead is the right color and the text is simple and effective. What a great comeback for the magazine. They just took the bar and raised it all the way to the very top.”
