Poland hasn’t exactly been on our must-read list this year. But the Polish fashion bible is making sure it closes out 2020 with a bang. We love when publications support homegrown talent so we’re thrilled to see Polish beauty Anja Rubik land a trio of December 2020 covers. Making a bold and powerful statement, Anja photographed herself for the covers fighting for women’s rights and protesting the recent abortion ban in her native country.

The above cover was the first to drop. “A powerful cover. Go Anja!” raved Nomar.
“What a statement. The most powerful cover I’ve seen this year. There’s no one better than Anja to star on such a cover. I have so much respect for her. Incredible!” applauded Valentine27.
“Beautiful and powerful at the same time. This is how activism and fashion intertwine,” THD96 chimed in.

Serend1pity was also an admirer: “Very powerful — the smaller, new European editions are giving American Vogue and British Vogue lessons on how to make a cover.”
“She has been outspoken about social issues and promoting sexual education for a long time now so she absolutely deserves this cover!” approved annikad.
“I love it! A strong cover and a powerful message. That’s how you make a statement!” echoed jorgepalomo.
Forum member aracic shared the same level of enthusiasm. “This is what a strong message conveyed through fashion covers done right looks like. Spectacular! All three covers are magnificent…”
“All three are stunning! Hauntingly beautiful!” cheered MON.
