We half expected to see Lady Gaga on the cover of British Vogue this month, but in true Edward Enninful fashion, he surprises us for April 2019. Moving on from one Naomi [Campbell] to another, Enninful taps actress Naomi Scott as his latest cover girl — a welcome change from the usual suspects. British photographer Nick Knight delivers a stunning, retro glam portrait of Naomi, who unmistakably wears a look from Prada’s Spring 2019 collection, styled by Kate Phelan.
The cover was an instant hit with our forum members. “I’m actually here for this. There’s something quite retro about it all. Nice to see Nick back on the covers too. Nice to see them selecting an up and coming star too,” applauded honeycombchild.
“Stunning! This is what I’m talking about Edward! This is gorgeous, and that art direction is a step in the right direction,” admired MON.
“This is stunning and I’m here for it. The makeup is lovely and she’s beautiful,” complimented littlekiki.

Sharing the same enthusiasm was forum member tigerrouge: “Can’t complain about Edward giving us something beautiful with someone new.”
LastNight certainly loved what he was seeing too. “Absolutely gorgeous! I adore everything about this and I’m so happy it’s by Nick Knight who has always been a fantastic, yet underused, asset to this magazine,” he noted.
“Beautiful! Don’t know her, but this is lovely. And so nice to see Nick shooting a cover for them again,” echoed Fiercification.
