UK Harper’s Bazaar, holding true to its quintessentially British aesthetic, channels all the Royal Wedding excitement for the new June 2018 issue. The magazine appropriately taps The Crown‘s Vanessa Kirby, who evokes a modern-day princess throughout the polished cover story, photographed by regular Bazaar contributor Alexi Lubomirski on location at the magnificent Oxford Manor. In the newsstand cover (below), Vanessa poses in a lilac Valentino Haute Couture creation styled by Miranda Almond, while in the subscribers cover (after the jump), the actress is all smiles wearing an ultra-feminine Oscar de la Renta dress in the bathtub.
The moment the covers struck, our forum members were captivated. “Bazaar does such beautiful covers. Alexi is very good photographer,” complemented caioherrero.
“One of those rare cases where I actually don’t mind the tried and tested formula. I can’t help it. I love their aesthetic,” confessed Yohji.
In agreement was forum member honeycombchild. “They’re consistent, I kind of like that. I haven’t bought the magazine in years now but I think it’s always a safe bet. You know what you’re getting and they tend to always deliver exactly what their audience wants,” he voiced.

“Yes!! I love this and I LOVE that Vanessa is getting some magazine love. She’s so incredible in The Crown and with her role in the new Mission Impossible movie, I’m sure she’ll get a ton more exposure,” happycanadian chimed in.
HeatherAnne was quick to rave: “YES, YES, YES, YES. She is such a fantastic actress, and an utter stunner. I like the lilac cover!”
“Nice to see them going back to what they do best, I will take this over those try hard artsy covers! She looks beautiful,” Miss Dalloway echoed.
