We guessed it was only a matter of time before Grace Elizabeth scored the cover of Vogue Paris, given the fact that the American beauty already has covers for Vogue Italia, Vogue Germany and Vogue Spain under her belt. Emmanuelle Alt’s obsession with the 80s continues from Kaia Gerber‘s Vogue Paris cover last month with the new offering for March 2018. Photographed by David Sims and styled by Alt herself, Grace transforms into an old-school supermodel in the vintage-inspired cover photo wearing a black oversized leather Givenchy jacket, matching leather trousers, a dark smoky eye and nude lips.
The cover left a lot to be desired for our less-than-impressed forum members. “Kaia? Oh, it’s Grace! Nice dated cover but nothing extraordinary,” said Nymphaea the moment the cover dropped.
“Doesn’t look very March-ish. Very gloomy but I like Grace,” confessed Scotty.
MDNA shared the same underwhelming sentiments, adding, “Quite boring, and this definitely is not for March.”

“It doesn’t look anything like her! Where’s those cheekbones, defined chin? I was so excited when I read the thread title because at least Sims shot her, but this is such a disappointment. Alt is a disappointment! And what’s with the styling?” slammed Benn98.
Forum member gazebo wasn’t here for it, either: “Ewww! What a repulsive cover. I’ll buy a copy just to put it in a garbage bin where it belongs.”
“Really happy for Grace, we all saw this coming and that’s why the cover is so disappointing. I feel like Inez & Vinoodh would have been better to bring out the best of her and a March cover deserves a much better styling than this,” assessed apple.
“The cover doesn’t do her justice at all, and it is a very boring image and layout,” voiced nastassia.
