Jennifer Aniston has graced the cover of American Harper’s Bazaar several times before, including some “breathtaking and dreamy” imagery for the publication (and for us, of course). Following an eyesore of a September cover, the magazine welcomes back the familiar face for October 2017, with Jennifer posing for an old-school Bazaar cover story wearing Louis Vuitton on the newsstand cover (below), photographed by Mariano Vivanco.

Our forum members could not believe the final choice of cover image. “Nope. Not a flattering pic, at all – at least the face. She looks terrified. Love Jennifer Aniston and always happy to see her on anything, but this cover isn’t working,” assessed forum member happycanadian the second the cover struck.
“I actually laughed when I saw it. It’s not a good look. They actually went for this cover shot? I cannot believe it! Doesn’t Jen have a photo approval policy? My goodness! What a tragic photo. It doesn’t justify her beauty,” exclaimed a horrified MON.
Also quick to share their dismay was narcyza. “Wow, I saw this a million times!” she complained.
“Why?” asked Handbag Queen. “Every single cover she does look exactly the same!! Was so nice not seeing her for a while. Awful cover!”
“Despite the tan, blue backdrop, the hair actually gives off a different vibe,” reasoned Benn98. “Not sure whether I like it or hate it, but it’s nice to see her on the cover. It makes sense because she’s one of their best sellers.”
Honeycombchild wrote, “That subscribers cover is amazing. I’m here for that. I quite like her editorial too. It’s nothing new, but it feels quite new to see Jennifer in that. It’s a very Jennifer Lopez-esque glamour shoot, so I quite like that it’s Aniston used that way.”
