We hadn’t seen Jennifer Aniston on the cover of our favorite fashion glossies since her Harper’s Bazaar turn back in March, so you can imagine our delight with her latest appearance on the cover of American Marie Claire. The magazine has delivered a solid stable of covers this year, featuring a good mix of subjects who’ve never looked better, like Dakota Johnson and Sarah Jessica Parker. Jennifer photographs beautifully for the December issue, staying true to herself in the picture-perfect Michelangelo di Battista shot, wearing a striped Michael Kors dress on the newsstand cover (below).

“Jennifer Aniston always delivers according to the expected formula. You know what you’re going to get… but she never lets you down,” said tigerrouge the moment the cover dropped, setting the tone for commentary to follow.
Sharing the same attitude was Benn98: “Oh wow, a great end for Marie Claire in a series of strong covers this year. I agree, magazines may not experiment much with her, but she’s very photogenic even in her basic state. The breeziness of this cover is more suited to June, but it looks good.”
“Awful layout but I’ll never get tired of seeing her – I love her,” approved KateTheGreatest.
“She always looks great, but I hate whatever it is she’s wearing,” mistress_f complained.
In agreement over Alison Edmond’s questionable styling was narcyza, simply declaring, “I’m not a fan of this styling.”
ThatGuyPaul wasn’t exactly jumping for joy either, acknowledging, “Too much text but at least they did something with her hair!”
Also quick to express their dismay was MyNameIs. “The Photoshop around the nose area makes it look huge. I don’t mind the cover otherwise,” he pointed out.
