Rooney Mara has been on a roll since she wowed us in her white Givenchy in London. Since that appearance, she’s been showing us more of her dark side, wearing a black Roksanda Ilincic jumpsuit to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo premiere in Stockholm, and black once again to the New York premiere. The black Prabal Gurung dress she wore in New York with Christian Louboutin heels is along the same lines as the other clothes she’s been wearing, in that it simultaneously reveals and conceals with a conservative neckline combined with cutouts and sheer panels.
“Holy sweet Jesus,” LolaSvelt wrote when she saw the look. “She has the best stylist ever.”
“That dress is so interesting. Feminine with a little edge… just like Rooney at the moment,” kokobombon described.

For what it’s worth, I think this hair and makeup really enhances her look as well. She looks sleek, chic and pretty in a non-threatening way. I like her because she looks so pretty but I don’t hate her because she’s beautiful.
