"Performance apparel doesn't follow trends as much as traditional ready-to-wear, so styles that were popular when we launched are still popular now. These are some looks currently on sale as well as some that we'll be launching at the end of summer as part of our Fall 2014 collection."

"Given my background as both a gymnast and an eveningwear designer, drape is very important to me. This top has the beautiful drape you get with our wrap tops, which are perennial best-sellers for us, without actually having to wrap your top."

Fit
"Our designs tend to be more intricate when it comes to fit and design. For example, with this draped top, there is more than one layer; it's imperative that there is no slipping if someone is wearing this when they're at a barre class or doing yoga and in an upside down pose. All of our pieces have been very meticulously designed to avoid any malfunctions."

Stock
“We moved into this space a year ago. We needed a big space because we ship all of our Web orders from here. We used to use a warehouse, but you end up getting lost in the shuffle and our orders weren’t getting the TLC I wanted. We still use warehouses for all of our wholesale accounts, but anything you order on our website, we will pack and send out that same day from here, so you’ll see stock all around the office.”

"This is my office. I design everything, but I also run the business — it's a lot. I usually handle the business side by day and then do my designing at night when I'm home. I keep everything very neat and organized. I always clean my desk before I go home...I don't want to see any clutter in the morning! We are just starting Spring 2015, which is why both my boards are empty at the moment."

Fabrics
"All of our fabrics are made for us, so they have unique compression capabilities. The pants also have UV protection along with antibacterial properties.”

Draping
“All of our products are developed here. We drape here, we wear test here, we model fit here, we produce the first samples here — everything. Then once everything is worked out, we send it out to the factory. Doing the production in-house cuts down on a lot of back and forth with our factory and it allows us to perfect the designs, so they turn out exactly how we want them.”

Sewing
"This is the sewing area. As a gymnast I grew up in spandex, but I also grew up with a design background, so it’s always important for our designs to respond to the needs of a comfortable lifestyle in a fashion-conscious way.”

"All of the fabric cutting is done here; in the afternoon this is where we pack and ship out all of our orders."

“I always knew I wanted my logo to be a person and to incorporate my initials. We looked at positions across fitness disciplines before settling on this yoga pose.”
