Charli XCX’s Lazy Party-Girl Eyeliner Hack Is Quite Unique

Charli XCX is spilling all about her makeup secrets, and the star’s party-girl eyeliner hack is definitely unique. The singer-songwriter, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, has continued to garner attention with her edgy style and fun tracks. When it comes to Charli’s flair, bold punk-like fashion has remained a constant throughout her appearances. While some may call the smudgy eyeliner a lazy look, the 32-year-old has embraced it and made it her signature style.

Charli XCX says she never gets mad if eyeliner gets smudgy

In an interview with Allure Magazine, Charli XCX, who is the newest ambassador for Valentino Beauty, shared her makeup secrets. The singer shared her eyeliner hack, saying, “I love going in the waterline, kind of pulling it out.” Charli continued that she is “never mad” if her eyeliner “gets a little smudgy.”

The “Apple” singer also shared that she prefers the kind of makeup look that gives the impression she has been “out partying the night before.” Charli candidly added, “Which in some cases, I have been.” However, at other times, the singer relies on her makeup to pull off that afterparty-like look.

Charli further shared that she is not keen on removing her eye makeup at night. The “365” singer said, “I’m a little lazy with that.” Charli added there are instances when the eyeliner is on her eye the next day, but the pop sensation thinks it looks good. She said, “I like it to have that kind of worn-in, party-girl look to it.”

Earlier this year, Charli XCX released her sixth studio album, “Brat.” The singer is extending the record’s success as she has now dropped the remix album, “Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat.” Charli’s star-studded new project features Ariana Grande, Troye Sivan, Kesha, Lorde, Billie Eilish, Addison Rae, Tinashe, and more. Notably, the singer has curated unusual yet catchy titles for the series of remix tracks.
