During her appearance on the TODAY show, Charlotte Tilbury shared easy hacks for people to enhance their fall beauty routine. Speaking to the host, the entrepreneur shared her tips on perfecting a mirrorless lip. Upon asking how models and influencers nail the technique, Tilbury revealed that it was all about getting the right formula. She then proceeded to show it in real time.
Charlotte Tilbury stressed the importance of an emollient moisture matte lipstick as the go-to choice for the look. The makeup artist also shared how there is no specific technique but only the hands to get the perfect mirrorless look on the lip. According to Tilbury, once you put on a bit of lipstick, you take your finger and dab the stain on the center of the lip, blending it outwards (as shown in the video). The makeup mogul further revealed that you could get it done “at the back of a taxi, on the go.” She noted how the hack could get one an on-trend lip blur effect.
For people with small lips, Tilbury suggested that they could opt for darker colors as this hack makes the lips look bigger. She also shared tips on finding the right skin tone for the foundation. In the video, the makeup artist suggested using the wrist to match the foundation shade to the skin’s undertone. She also suggested using matte-based eyeshadows with emollients in them to nail the eye makeup.
