Get the Look: Jamie Chung’s Low-Key Beauty Look

Some days, it’s all about keeping it simple in the hair and makeup department. And by the looks of it, Jamie Chung got the memo and went for this look over the weekend in Los Angeles. The Make Up For Ever spokesperson went for a full face of no-makeup makeup and complemented that with a low-key silky ponytail that showed off her golden highlights.

To recreate a makeup look like this, it’s all about making it seem like you have nothing on your skin and really just accentuating your natural features with makeup, using a soft application. Start by priming skin with a blur cream that has SPF, like Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield, so that foundation goes on seamlessly with an airbrushed effect. Gently play up cheekbones with a light-handed swipe of bronzer to make them pop without a full-on contour — same goes when applying blush.

Define brows with a waxy pencil or gel, but keep them natural-looking and avoid going too dark with the filling. Keep in mind that you want them to look groomed and not “done.” Add a thin line of eyeliner to the top lash line and enhance lashes with a few coats of mascara, so that they don’t get washed out with your flawless complexion. To finish the look, apply a balmy lipstick that is on the neutral side, like Rodial GlamStick Tinted Lip Butter
