New York Fashion Week has finally wrapped and there is a lot to talk about in terms of hair and makeup. Beauty gurus from Orlando Pita to Pat McGrath served up some pretty incredible looks that we can’t wait to recreate. From grungy 90s-inspired beauty to Swarovski crystal-embellished eyes, here are some of the best hair and makeup looks we saw in New York.

3.1 Phillip Lim
A British girl from the early 90s inspired the grungy, dual-textured hair that Paul Hanlon for Bumble and bumble created. The top was smooth, while the ends were imperfect and wavy. For makeup, the oxblood red lip was the focus of the utilitarian punk look.

Anna Sui
Leave it to Pat McGrath to make Viking-inspired beauty look pretty. McGrath painted graphic lines all over models' faces and gave their complexion a glowy finish. R+Co's Garren roughed up hair with salt spray for warrior-like vibes.

This editor-favorite look has everything you'd want from a perfect hair and makeup day: A sophisticated magenta lip, a subtly sexy ponytail (complete with a chic leather accessory) and fluttery lashes sprinkled with the right amount of glitter.

Derek Lam
Makeup extraordinaire Tom Pecheux for MAC was inspired by earth tones to create a look that was soft by using a mix of taupe eyeshadows over the lids. Orlando Pita for Phyto complemented the low-key look with a center-parted ponytail that was wrapped with a leather cuff and secured with a chopstick.

Seduction was the theme for the beauty, so there was obviously a smoky eye involved and Pat McGrath was behind the sexy look. For hair, Orlando Pita for TRESemmé twisted hair into a knot for an undone effect.

Donna Karan
Inspired by minimalist beauty and the fresh look of the 90s, Charlotte Tilbury mixed lipstick to create the perfect brownish-pink color that ruled the decade. Eugene Souleiman rounded out the look by gelling down models' natural hair along the hairline and then adding super long, straight extensions that boasted a blunt cut.

Marc Jacobs
Last season, Jacobs sent models down the runway in shag wigs, sans makeup. This season, François Nars created a strong look inspired by the swans of the 50s and 60s, like Babe Paley and Jacqueline de Ribes. Makeup focused on matte skin, dramatically defined brows and an eggplant shade of lipstick. Guido for Redken created an equally statement-making top knot by blowdrying hair forward into a ponytail before securing the knot.

Michael Kors
We're totally singing Orlando Pita's praises for making all the models sleep with slightly damp, washed hair the evening before arriving backstage at Michael Kors. The result was a quintessential "I woke up like this" look that only required a few spritzes of texture spray. Dick Page created an equally chill makeup look made up of rosy cheeks and a fresh complexion.

Diane Kendal noted the abstract expressionism inspiration behind the collection and used her fingers to smear wet black eyeshadow over the lids. Anthony Turner gave disheveled hair over-the-top texture and added a leather headband for an extra edge.

This is a perfect example of less being more when it comes to beauty. Tom Pecheux enhanced models' natural beauty by keeping it simple in the makeup department. Guido complemented the makeup with loose waves — the end result was soft and pretty.

Swarovski-embellished eyes fit the whimsical direction given by the Rodarte sisters for the beauty look. James Kaliardos for NARS used a straight strip of the crystals along the lower lash line to reflect light and create depth, while hair was kept naturally wavy and brushed out.

Victoria Beckham
Makeup artist Pat McGrath was able to skip highlighter thanks to the SK-II masks models used before getting prepped. The glowy skin was juxtaposed by sooty dark eye makeup and a ponytail-knot hybrid that were both morning-after inspired.
