Co-founded by Hillary Hutcheson, who called her service “the Open Table for beauty” in The New York Times, BeautyBooked offers a curated selection of beauty spots along with editorial reviews to allow users to make quick, yet informed, decisions when booking their appointments via a simple swipe in the app. It’s available in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York City.

Backed by Ashton Kutcher among others, this app is offered in more than a dozen cities. Users can search and browse to find beauty professionals (everything from hair and makeup to waxing and nails). In addition to basic location information, you can view photos of their work and book directly through the site or app.

Designed to find and book same-day beauty services, this New York City-based app was co-founded by Hannah Bronfman and banks on a curated selection of beauty locations.

Looking to get your hair styled after your gym session? This New York City-based app will send a stylist to your gym locker room to style your hair in mere minutes.
GreenHopping
Covering New York City and the Hamptons, this app has put all vegan, raw, gluten-free and vegetarian restaurants, green juice bars, cold-pressed juice bars, green smoothie bars and health food stores on an electronic map for users to locate via GPS mobile application or the Internet.
