Why we like it: Summer nights call for a bit of fun, which is why we love Kate’s look here. The mauve lip is a departure from the classic pinks we’ve been seeing and her use of multiple shades of shimmer on her eyes adds depth and definition without making her look too made up.
How to get it at home: Start with a blendable foundation, such as Dior’s Hydra Life BB Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($56), which protects from the sun while hydrating and correcting skin tone. Next, lightly contour the cheeks using a warm toned bronzer, such as NARS’ Cheek Palette in Soulshine ($41), which has a bit of shimmer but offers a blend of dark rose tones with classic bronze for a perfect summer glow.
Get Kate’s shimmering eye by using Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadows in Space Cowboy and Diamond Dog ($20). Sweep the lighter champagne color across the lid then define the crease and lashline with the darker bronze. Using a soft gel-like eyeliner, such as Buxom’s Hold The Line Waterproof Liner in Call Me ($17), tightline the upper lashline and run it all along the waterline.
