Jennifer Aniston's Oscars Hair
Everyone pretty much always loves Jennifer Aniston's hair, and it was completely on point at the Oscars. She wore her usual 'do with a little extra volume and oomph. Obviously, having your hair color touched up is a must before any big event, especially if you're wearing your hair down, and Jen's highlights are perfection. Her stylist Chris McMillan worked Living Proof Prime Style Extender, $20, into her hair. Then he gave her a perfect, slightly tousled blowout with a round brush. Finally, he used hair spray on the roots for added volume.

Jessica Pare's SAG Awards Makeup
You'd be forgiven for thinking this eye look was straight off the set of Jessica's show Mad Men, but the bronzey hues and soft edges kept it modern. Makeup Artist Mai Quynh used Chanel Quadre Palette in Mystic Eyes, sweeping bronze over the entire lid, with the beige and pink from the palette as a highlight and in the inner corner of the eye. The dark chocolate color was smudged into the lash line on the top and bottom. The whole look was set off with a retro pale pink lip.

There was a good bit of ho-hum makeup on the Oscar red carpet, but Jennifer Lawrence's hair was anything but. It looks pretty and not too fussy from the front, but the updo in the back was packing more chic style than expected at first glance. Stylist Mark Townsend prepped hair with Dove Anti-Frizz Serum, $7, and blow dried it with a mousse and a round brush. Then he twisted random piece from each side, pinning them in the center with crisscrossed bobby pins. (The criss-crossed bobby pin is the secret to long-lasting updos, for sure!) The remaining hair was made into a loose bun at the nape of her neck.

A big trend on the red carpet this awards season was lilac eyeshadow. Kerry Washington sported the go-to shade in Lancome's Color Design Infinite in Evermore Lilac, $25, to be exact. Lightly lined eyes, a slick of mascara and her eyes were done. The rest of her color palette stayed in the cool family as well, with pink cheeks and lilac-y pink lips - though the look was understated enough to keep from being too matchy matchy. Kerry's awards season makeup was a winner every time if you ask us.

Anne Hathaway's Oscar Makeup
Anne Hathaway has been a very controversial figure this awards season, but she's been pretty on top of her beauty game. Case in point: her pretty princess look at the Oscars. Makeup artist Kate Lee used Laura Mercier Eye Canvas to prep Hathaway's eyelids before applying a lilac shadow, adding dark gray on the outer lids. Some individual false lashes were added before mascara. Her lip color was chosen to be a shade brighter than her dress by mixing Chanel Rouge Allure in Seduisante, $34, with some concealer.
