Mid-afternoon in Paris, on the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Miuccia Prada served up the Miu Miu Fall 2025 collection to the fashion press. “The collection was about femininity and the idea of doing femininity in this difficult moment to lift us up,” noted Mrs. Prada. At the Palais D’Iena, Miuccia insisted the venue be decked out in yellow moiré fabric (to match the show invitation). This season, the Italian designer’s cast of girls (including Gigi Hadid and Sarah Paulson) emerged down the narrow runway dressed in an array of ladylike designs. The lineup boasted themes of womanhood and classic femininity. Models donned glamorous fur coats, slips, bullet bras, wool suits, and 1950s-style dresses – each in a bold color palette.
Miu Miu Fall 2025 Collection Review
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I didn’t like this. At all. Something about it is so insipid, and the collection looks as if it is cosplaying as old Prada. Like a daughter dressing up as their mum who is going through a severe midlife crisis.” [Cocteau Stone]
“For me, the mood and proposal has changed of what they’ve been building the last few years, bridging a bit closer to old Miu Miu. The tailoring and makeup is dated. It’s not that I thought every collection recently has been strong, but this feels the least ‘fresh’ from their new era…” [oioioi]
“I hate this collection; without Fabio, Miuccia is lost. With Prada, at least Raf is taking all the blame. Miuccia is killing her own legacy. I honestly wonder if she was ever any good?” [TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu]
“Feels like a watered down Miu Miu Fall 2011 collection with bits of Prada Spring 2020 thrown in the mix. Sadly another underwhelming collection.” [GERGIN]
“I thought it would never end. So many (unnecessary) looks!” [thiago]
“Fashion show was unnecessary for this. It’s all styling tricks. Miss the days when each Miu Miu collection had its own theme and was actually designed, not just styled.” [Avonlea]
