Through the makeup video, she demonstrated how the lip shape stands out “on its own” because of the product.

Soon after Hailey Bieber and Rhode Skin announced the launch of Peptide Lip Shape, the model shared a makeup tutorial on YouTube to make customers understand its application process. Bieber, who has been hinting at the product for the longest time in her TikTok videos, took viewers on a step-by-step process of applying the lip shape. Through the lip product, she aimed to give lips the same “contour effect” that one can get on other parts of the face.
Explaining how the product stood out in comparison to a lip liner, Bieber said, “I wanted it to be a lip shaper without having to be so precise as a lip liner.” The model proceeded to apply Rhode’s new launch on her lips, noting that one can comfortably go outside the lines and be “messy” with its application. She also gave fans a look at the smudger’s purpose in the product, which is to help one blend the product evenly across the lips.
The Rhode Skin Peptide Lip Shape comes in 11 different shades, including Lift, Press, Bend, Twist, and more. Explaining the reason behind these names, Bieber associated the word “shape” with “movement of one’s body.” The model then revealed that the two key ingredients — peptide and fenugreek extract — would help give a person’s lips their desired fullness.
