Earlier this year, the actor made her return to the big screens in the sci-fi movie “Distant.” Now, Scott is all set to take over the screens in the awaited horror sequel of “Smile” just in time for the spooky season. The star recently commanded attention on the black carpet in an eye-catching crinkly gown as she stepped out in L.A. for the film’s event. Interestingly, Scott’s dress seemed to be in line with her character in the movie as she showcased a mysterious ensemble.

Naomi Scott wore a striking black crinkled gown at the “Smile 2” premiere in L.A. According to the Daily Mail, the off-the-shoulder dress featured an asymmetrical neckline, giving a stripped-off appearance to the trim. Meanwhile, the gown’s corset-style bodice enhanced the actor’s figure. The purposefully lacerated pattern continued on the floor-length skirt as it featured another asymmetrical cutout on the hem. The section was finished with a partially sheer fabric.
Scott opted for minimal jewelry accessories for the black carpet attendance and completed the all-black ensemble with strappy sandal heels. Besides that, she wore her short bob brunette hair down. Meanwhile, Scott was joined by her co-star, Kyle Gallner, and the film director, Parker Finn, on the black carpet.
It’s safe to say Scott’s style was in tune with the horror movie’s theme. “Smile 2” follows the story of Skye Riley, a pop sensation who is about to embark on a world tour. However, she soon begins to experience startling events. As the narrative unfolds, Riley gets overwhelmed by the stress as well as the horrors surrounding her, which culminates in her coming to terms with her past.
“Smile 2” is all set to hit the theaters on October 18.
