Selena Gomez’s Bow-Adorned Gown Commands Attention at ‘Emilia Pérez’ Premiere

Selena Gomez recently walked the red carpet of the New York Film Festival for the premiere of “Emilia Pérez” in a stunning bow-adorned Vera Wang gown. Her form-fitting dress featured several attention-grabbing elements, but the big bow at the back and the halterneck drew major attention to the singer’s toned shoulders and sharp collarbones. Gomez also opted for minimal accessories so as to not eclipse the beauty of the dress.

On Monday, Selena Gomez arrived at the 62nd Annual New York Film Festival for the premiere of “Emilia Pérez” in an all-black Vera Wang gown that featured a statement bow at the back. Gomez brought her A1 fashion game to the premiere of “Emilia Perez” at the Alice Tully Hall of the Lincoln Center, where she posed with other movie cast members such as Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, and more.

Selena Gomez’s black dress was further accentuated with a cowl neckline and detached elbow-length black sleeves. These additions were perfect, as they contributed to the elegance of the dress. The actor also paired her all-black gown with dangling diamond earrings and sparkly silver rings. As for the hair, Gomez opted for a sleek bun to complete her look.

PEOPLE reported that Selena Gomez arrived on the red carpet alone, but her partner, Benny Blanco, accompanied her inside Alice Tully Hall. The couple recently attended the 2024 Emmys together in coordinating looks.

While promoting “Emilia Pérez” at the 2024 New York Film Festival, the actor shared her thoughts on playing the role of Jessi Del Monte. In an interview with Extra, she said, “I really feel like this has been such a blessing in this movie. I hope people understand the meaning behind it and enjoy it, and I couldn’t be more grateful to [director] Jacques [Audiard] for giving me this opportunity as an actor, so I hope this is just the beginning.”

Gomez also shared why speaking Spanish in the film was important to her and her family. Furthermore, the actor revealed that her father, Ricardo Joel Gomez, was “so proud” of her Spanish language skills.
