Vogue Germany’s current Head of Editorial Content Kerstin Weng seems determined to restore the magazine to its former glory. Weng immediately went into our good books here at theFashionSpot, welcoming back Claudia Schiffer onto the magazine for March, and last month gave us a historic moment by inviting the 102-year-old Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer to become a cover star. Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Why would anyone think this is a good shot for a cover?” immediately asked mikel.
“Are fashion students making these covers? Everything feels fan-made by some kid in a basement,” chimed in an unconvinced jjjmmm.
Not everyone, however, was so underwhelmed. “Love it! The cover model is enjoying fashion and most importantly life. Love seeing joy,” admired MModa.
“So fun and the colors are lovely,” praised Ihhbl.
“I like that it’s set outdoors and Devyn Garcia is smiling but what is up with that pose and composition?” quizzed forum member Drusilla.
Liberty33r1b described the cover as “horrible” but do you agree?
