We’ve already broken down all the great hairstyles Fashion Month Spring 2021 bestowed upon us. Now it’s time to move on to makeup. Whether it was up on the runway or featured in a lookbook, the best Spring 2021 makeup looks were varied and striking.
This season the eyes have it. It’s probably thanks to the fact that the rest of our faces are currently being covered up by face masks. Both Chloe and Christian Dior went heavy on the eyeliner. Meanwhile, Blumarine, Kenneth Ize and Bronx and Banco opted for bright shadow. Etam and N°21 amped up the shine factor, but to different degrees.
The lip looks are also noteworthy. Bora Aksu’s half blurred lips really stood out, even under semi-sheer face coverings. Models at Acne Studios were treated to a gradient effect complete with lip liner. If you’re a fan of matte lipstick, Balmain has you covered.

The relaxed updos at Christian Dior were in stark contrast to the intense black liner-rimmed eyes. Peter Phillips surrounded models’ peepers in dense, matte liner and finished off the look with mascara and brow gel.
