By the time the fashion crowd descends on Milan, there’s always a real sense of the season coming to fruition. This season, Missoni celebrated a monumental 65 years in the business, 90s supermodels like Georgina Grenville made a surprise appearance at Salvatore Ferragamo and Shalom Harlow closed out the Versace show.

Miuccia Prada is officially back in full form with Prada‘s latest collection, Jeremy Scott is slowly becoming a bona fide forum favorite after his scribble-inspired Moschino collection (despite accusations of copying another designer’s designs) and the Max Mara show was sophistication personified, once again. Yet the sound of applause slowly turned into the sound of crickets as Dolce & Gabbana insisted on the same old “Viva Italia” aesthetic, Alberta Ferretti shamelessly knocked off Isabel Marant and we strongly suggest Donatella Versace not shy away from the original, sexy and straightforward Versace DNA ever again.
