Can’t get enough of the sexy dancer in Kanye West’s “Fade” music video? Neither can Agent Provocateur.
The lingerie brand released a sexy new ad campaign featuring Teyana Taylor free-styling a strong, provocative dance. Modeling sheer yellow lace lingerie, the 27-year-old swayed to the tune of Exile’s “I Want To Kiss You All Over” for the brand’s new line called The Power of Provocateur.
“Teyana Taylor represents today’s new superhero: vivacious in spirit, fierce in femininity and proud to be powerful, in every move she makes,” the brand said on its website.
Agent Provocateur creative director Sarah Shotton tells Vogue that the sultry dance was not exactly the primary focus of the campaign. “The brand is all about strong women, curves and healthy bodies that are sexually liberated and free – we wanted to create something that represents the confidence our underwear gives the wearer,” she said. Mission accomplished.
“The brand came to me in search of a strong talent, one who could not only be the face of the campaign, but also be involved in creating a new approach to female empowerment,” Taylor said. “I felt like it could be an opportunity for me to represent different types of women with [regard] to lingerie.” Aside from Taylor, big names such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue and Maggie Gyllenhaal have also represented the famous lingerie brand.
Items in the collection range from $45 to $3,395 with some of them already available for purchase online.
