Once again, the Victoria’s Secret Angels are driving us wild with travel envy. Josephine Skriver, Sui He, Ming Xi and Alessandra Ambrosio are currently on a tour of China — massive, sparkly, VS-branded scissors in hand — cutting bubblegum pink ribbons at the lingerie giant’s first full-assortment, China-based stores. (Prior to this week, Victoria’s Secret had only 26 store locations in China, all stocked with only beauty products and accessories. Blasphemy.)
To further promote its Asian expansion — and ensure that its 2017 runway is, again, peak Instagram — Victoria’s Secret will hold its upcoming lingerie fashion show in Shanghai. As the spectacle is still many months away, the guest performers, Fantasy Bra wearer and updated Angel list are still unknowns. However, we do know this: given the choice of locale, we doubt the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show producers will put Elsa Hosk in a dragon wrap this time around.
