The Spring 2017 campaigns have begun to trickle in. Unsurprisingly, Gigi Hadid is still ever-y-where . Needless to say, 2016’s International Model of the Year and other industry faves (you know who they are) aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. That said, this year saw the rise of some seriously inspiring voices. Jaden and Willow Smith, Amandla Stenberg, Hari Nef and Barbie Ferreira gave the industry a much-needed shake-up — and looked impossibly chic while doing so.
With the new year upon us, we’re hungrier than ever for, as Pantone puts it , revitalization. We’re ready to hear from the next crop of stylish agitators. Fresh faces, personalities and aesthetics are the very lifeblood of the fashion industry. Without them, inspiration would stall and we’d be forced to cancel our Instagirl-heavy magazine subscriptions.
Thanks to our unhealthy obsession with fashion-centric social media, we already have an inkling of who’s going to make up said vogue vanguard. Click through the slideshow above for the lowdown on 14 fashion influencers who are going to dominate headlines, Instagram feeds, hearts, minds and mood boards in 2017.
14 Budding Style Stars
Elizabeth De La Piedra
Aussie-Peruvian photographer and stylist Elizabeth De La Piedra recently debuted her first solo exhibition , a photo series documenting a day in the life of transgender Tumblr sensation Rashida. Soon after, ASOS flew the Glossier, American Apparel and Vogue.com favorite out to London to be its date for the (B)FAs. Although Elizabeth is welcoming her second child (with producer husband Josh Young, formerly of Flosstradamus) any day now, the vintage shopping fanatic is by no means disappearing from the scene.

Ella Purnell
Twenty-year-old actress Ella Purnell has a colorful, experimental style that made her easy to spot at Christian Dior's cruise show at Blenheim Palace, Gucci's Westminster Abbey-based cruise presentation and Chanel's ritzy Métiers d'Art luncheon. We fully expect her to be a front row fixture in 2017.

Kate Bowman
Gallery girl, art history student and muse to Pat McGrath, New York native Kate Bowman is one to watch. To give you a sense of the model's personality (sartorial and otherwise), two of her greatest loves are thrift shopping and The Paris Review . Over the past year she's become a Vogue.com regular and has lent her angelic, full-lipped look to Mansur Gavriel and Urban Outfitters campaigns. No doubt her multitasking career will continue to flourish in 2017.

Camila Cabello
Camila Cabello caught the public's eye as one-fifth of the world's biggest girl group, but, much like Zayn Malik and many before him, recently set her sights on a more stylish solo career. Something tells us the Topshop and American Apparel devotee will further embrace her Alexandre Vauthier Couture-loving side in the coming year.

Selah Marley
We'll make this easy: If you want to know who to follow in 2017, look to Chanel's most recent Métiers d'Art models and guest lists. On the former you'll find Selah Marley, daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley. In one short year, Selah covered Wonderland and L'Uomo Vogue , strode the Yeezy Season 4 runway, posed for Calvin Klein's fall campaign and began her bachelor's studies at New York University. And all while pursuing her ultimate passion — music (because genetics). Keep your eyes and ears on this one.

Damaris Goddrie
If Damaris Goddrie had all the money in the world, she'd fill her closet with Vivienne Westwood . Judging by the momentum of her career, the Dutch beauty's wardrobe is about to get seriously punky. In the past year she's walked for Chanel, Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, Stella McCartney and Fenty x Puma, to name just a few. She's also fronted Harper's Bazaar' s Netherlands edition and starred in Topshop's recent holiday campaign. With her down-to-earth personality and enviable style, Damaris is well on her way to becoming the next supermodel/Instagirl.

Iris Law
When your genes are on point and your last name carries a certain gravitas, the fashion world is your oyster. In 2017, Iris Law — sister of Rafferty, daughter of Jude — will likely reach Lily-Rose Depp status. Rumor has it Karl Lagerfeld has big (six-figure) plans for the Miu Miu lookbook star.

Millie Bobby Brown
Stranger Things was arguably one of the best things to happen to 2016. In addition to hours of top-notch entertainment, the Netflix series gave us Millie Bobby Brown. While the actress' Kate Spade New York and Coach picks are still a little young for our tastes, we look forward to witnessing her sartorial coming-of-age. After all, her bobby pin game already rivals Rihanna's.

Manon Macasaet
New York native Manon Macasaet possesses a unique, innocent charm, but don't let that fool you — this girl's a boss. If it weren't for her use of sayings like "pinky swear" you might forget that the artist/model/stylist/intern (at New York cult store VFiles, no less) is only in high school. She's already appeared in campaigns for Adidas and MadeMe, styled a lookbook for Fuct and, most recently, curated the Nike NYC zine. This is definitely only the beginning for this gifted, well-connected kid.

Richie Shazam Khan
Spring 2017 was downtown personality Richie Shazam Khan's breakout season. At Rachel Comey, the gender-bending style star posed in slouchy pants and a teensy crop top. He worked a dress for Madrid's ManéMané. And then there was that time he walked London's Ashish runway draped with a real live boa constrictor — NBD. Needless to say Richie won't fade from the fashion set's minds anytime soon.

Reese Blutstein
Research suggests that fashion's future lies not in print magazines, but blogs. Whether or not this is true, 20-year-old blogger and student Reese Blutstein is one to read/watch.

Yara Shahidi
True, Black-ish star Yara Shahidi isn't exactly under the radar. That said, 2017 marks the start of her gap year, which means the Women Management signee has more time to bless us with cover and campaign appearances that'll match — if not outshine — her recent stint on Teen Vogue .

Rina Fukushi
Tokyo It girl Rina Fukushi emanated ultra cool vibes as she walked the Spring 2017 runways of Alexander Wang, Acne Studios, Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta, Chloe and Miu Miu (to name just a few). A lover of vintage shopping, travel, photography and My Neighbor Totoro , the part-Filipino, part-Spanish, part-Japanese model is the breath of fresh air our Gigi Hadid-saturated feeds need. May 2017 see her first Vogue cover.

Paloma Elsesser
A regular in our monthly street style roundups , curve model Paloma Elsesser has had quite the year. She graced the pages of Teen Vogue , Wonderland , i-D and Allure . She starred in campaigns for Lonely Lingerie, Nike and H&M. As an ASOS ambassador and Pat McGrath muse, she'll likely never want for clothes or glittery makeup again. We're thinking 2017's the year she walks the runway.
