Whoever still believes that you can’t wear white after Labor Day, look no further than the December fashion magazines to be proven wrong. Times are, in fact, changing. There are hardly any Kardashians in sight and there’s a sea of winter white looks, including the current issue of Vogue where First Lady Michelle Obama appears in a white Carolina Herrera gown. Holiday sparkle made several requisite appearances as well.
It wasn’t all upbeat and festive, however, when you consider the glaring lack of racial diversity this month. Let’s hope this isn’t a sign of what’s to come in 2017. With that said, here’s a look at the most notable December magazine covers.
