She’s ending 2015 with a bang, landing a major deal with Tommy Hilfiger. Hadid was announced as the global ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger’s Womens line, starting with the Fall 2016 season. Gigi has walked in the brand for several seasons so this appointment was a long time coming.
As part of her exclusive partnership, Hadid will design her first capsule collection for the brand in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. Get ready for sportswear, shoes, accessories and a fragrance all with Hadid’s one-of-a-kind spin. Tommy gushed about Gigi in a press release, revealing he’s known her family “for years” and crowning her the quintessential Tommy Girl: “She is truly the definition of today’s ‘Tommy Girl’ – her magnetic personality is bright and always optimistic, and her style is confident, effortless and cool.”

As for the collection itself, the supermodel tells fans to expect a bit of everything: “There are styles that are really hippie-chic, styles that are sporty streetwear, and styles that are tomboy but girly,” she said, adding, “Everyone is going to love a different part of it.” Hadid joins a long list of iconic Tommy Girls including Beyoncé, Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell, Alexa Chung and Aaliyah.
