Nicole Trunfio’s breastfeeding cover for ELLE Australia has been making waves all around the world this week, and local and international celebrities have come forward to show their support.
“There’s nothing more beautiful than a mother and her baby. So proud of you, @nictrunfio!” fellow mum and esteemed model Cindy Crawford tweeted.

Model Chrissy Teigan indirectly highlighted the fact that only ELLE Australia subscribers are getting their hands on the breastfeeding cover, saying, “I have a HUGE problem with this cover and it’s that I don’t personally have 100 in my possession.”

Jessica Gomes, who was also raised in Perth and is the Godmother of Nicole’s baby, Zion, said, “DYING over this new cover of my lady & godson Zion.”
We can only assume that Nicole is over the moon with the support, especially after she expressed some concern when images of the cover were released last week. “The last thing I want to do is be controversial, so please take this for what it is” she wrote on Facebook.

In an apperance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Nicole claimed, “I didn’t think it was going to be such a big deal.” She continued, “There’s nothing worse than, as a mother, doing something that’s so necessary, like feeding your child, and feeling like somebody could have an opinion about it, or somebody’s looking at you in the wrong way.”
Whether you agree or disagree with the cover, it’s something Nicole is able to cherish and look back on for the rest of her life. “It brought tears to my eyes because my two worlds had collided at that moment,” she said.
