Volley Gets Cool with the Help of Bambi Northwood-Blyth and Tyler Atkins

In case you missed it, Volley just got cool. The iconic Australian footwear brand is heading down a much trendier path for Spring 2014, tapping uber-babes Bambi Northwood-Blyth and Tyler Atkins to front its current campaign. You might remember Tyler from The Amazing Race or Puberty Blues and just quietly, we’re pretty happy this bearded god has popped up again for Volley’s new season.

Other than the campaign being easy on the eye, the sneaker brand now has a more fashion-forward feel, with on-trend prints, colours and materials incorporated into the new collection. Think subtly tie-dyed high-tops in hues of purple and grey, leopard prints set against tangerine trims, plus premium grey suede with mustard leather accents.

“We wanted to introduce a younger demographic and take them on the same journey that their grandparents still remember,” Product Designer Jazz Bonifacio says in a news release. “This meant aligning the brand with influential faces and injecting fun colours and updated styles.”

That’s enough about the collection, which you can buy over at Volley’s online store — let’s get back to the models. It’s too bad that Bambi is publicly obsessed with her hubby Dan Single because these two would make for a seriously rad, seriously attractive couple. Just look at Tyler’s top knot—it would be a match made in hipster heaven.
