Mad Men won’t be back until 2012, but January Jones, the actress that plays the frustrated housewife, Betty Draper, has been making the rounds to promote X-Men and she’s been using the opportunity to tease Mad Men fans with trivia to tide us over until the show goes back on the air. One morsel of gossip? The blonde stunner had originally auditioned for the part of the spunky but frumpy copywriter, Peggy Olsen. When the creator, Matthew Weiner, handed the part over to Elisabeth Moss, he went home and drafted two scenes featuring Betty Draper, Don Draper’s wife.
